Gillmans
Carmen and Dick have performed at concerts, festivals, schools, workshops and in living rooms of friends and neighbors.  As two members of the "not oppressively formal" Newton Street Irregulars, they include as highlights: The Old Songs Festival, Altimont, New York; Mountain Music Weekends at Sagamore Historic Great Camp at Raquette Lake, New York and a fine weekend with members of the Folk Music Society of New York

In retirement Carmen and Dick continue their involvement with the folk music world - singing and accompanying themselves on guitar, dulcimer, banjo and fiddle.  Dick calls dances and builds handsome dulcimers and fretless banjos.

Both Carmen and Dick were among the many volunteers who over a ten year period restored the beautiful 1891 Fredonia Opera House where they have performed many times.
